A clock control device (1) receives a DCF77 signal and converts it into minute pulses. Clocks maintain a sensory mechanism for checking the 12-hour position of the hands. Comparing an internal software clock with DCF time performs a decentralized time correction and an adjustment from summer to winter time. Several controllers can be interlinked via a network (2) for altering current clock time according to need.
