The plug comprises a downward-facing, sloping upper lip (5) and an upward-facing, sloping lower lip (7) which fit each side of the hole. It is made from temperature-resistant, acoustically insulating material with a density of - 1.5 g/cm3, which can withstand temperatures of - 210 deg C for 30 minutes without affecting its sealing properties. The material is at least 3 mm thick.
