The closure for a drinking flask comprises a cap (2) which fits on the flask and a stopper (3) fitted with a valve which is moved up or rotated to allow drinking. The stopper is fitted with a seal (4) with a sloping lip (5a). This fits against a shoulder (2b) on the inside of the cap which slopes at the same angle.
