A medicament (A) for treating or preventing intrahepatic cholestasis and regulating cholesterol formation contains luteolin-7-O-glucuronide (I) or its salt as active agent. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of (A), by converting (I) (optionally together with conventional additives) into a suitable dosage form.
