The device has electrodes (M) and measurement electronics (E) and associated wireless transmission of digitized measurement signals to a receiver station (PC). The electrodes, measurement electronics, transmitter and electrical power unit (S) are mounted in a belt system (G). The receiver station stores, displays, prints and evaluates the received data. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of measuring physiological parameters and a use of the device for acquiring electrocardiograms, electroencephalograms, electromyograms, blood pressure values and skin impedance and values for blood oxygen saturation.
