The piston arrangement (1) has a second volume-changing chamber (19) that produces bias force against the admission direction produced by a pressure medium in the first working chamber (9). A pressure medium source (13) is combined with the inlet bore (11) of the first working chamber whose outlet bore (10) is connected to a valve (14) based on electrorheological/magnetorheological liquids. A first piston (3) is welded in a cylinder housing (2) in which the first working chamber and second volume-changing chamber are formed. The first working chamber is filled with electro-rheological or magneto-rheological liquid.
