Safety circuit for protection against contact with dangerous components delivers current pulse to person on approaching too close to component, and limits duration of pulse and delivered charge

The circuit has a voltage source (14) and an electrical connection (17) between the source and the harmful component (18) whereby the circuit delivers a current pulse to a person if the person comes too close to the component. There are a device for limiting the duration of the current pulse and/or the delivered charge and a transformer (10) for generating a high voltage. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of protecting a person from contacting a harmful component, a device with a harmful component and a protective circuit, an earthing kit and a supplementary fitting kit.
