The sealing tape (2) is of elastomer material and is fastened in at least two points along the cut-out. A band-shaped insert (3) is imbedded into the tape to press the underside of the tape into continuous sealing contact between the two fastening points (4). The insert is of plastic or metal, and may be formed by a profiled metal plate strip. The ends of the tape are connected to form a ring.
