An aqueous composition comprising water, an olefin/vinyl(idene) chloride/vinyl ester copolymer, a chloroparaffin, antimony trioxide and hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetate is new. An aqueous composition comprising the following components is new: (1) water; (2) a copolymer of: (a) a monoolefin with 2-8C atoms; (b) vinyl chloride or vinylidene chloride; and (c) a vinyl ester of a saturated linear monocarboxylic acid having 6-18C atoms; (3) a chloroparaffin; (4) antimony trioxide; and (5) a partially or totally hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetate.
