Procedure for insertion of elongated workpieces of steel into transport grid has loading robot whose path and movement angle are measured with position measurement system and passed on to control electronics
A procedure for the insertion of elongated workpieces of steel into a transport grid (1) that for the heat treatment of the workpieces must be delivered together with these through a heat treatment oven, is described. The transport grid is provided with erection nesters (3) for the workpieces and with retaining openings (7) at a distance above the erection nesters. The workpieces are shoved in through the retaining openings and in the plugged-in state are held by the retaining openings at a distance laterally. The setpoint position of each retaining opening lies in a vertical alignment over an erection nest. However, the actual position of each retaining opening can deviate from the vertical alignment. A loading robot is provided whose path and movement angle are measured with a position measurement system and passed on to control electronics.
