It is a process for the production of molded parts with a density of 0,15 g / cm · 3 · to 0,4 g / cm · 3 · at least from fibrous material obtained from renewable raw materials in the form of renewable, comminuted raw materials as well as tannin as a binder, without the form of aldehydes without proportion described. The method comprises the mixing at least of the fiber material and of the tannin, the compacting the resulting mixture in a perforated form and the action of the mixture contained in the perforated form with a heated gas.
