Operating electromagnetic actuator used in internal combustion engine, involves intermittently increasing excitation current of electromagnet to cause increase in remanence induction of electromagnet

The method involves intermittently increasing the excitation current (I1,I2) of two opposite electromagnets (11,12) to cause increase in remanence induction of the electromagnets during the time interval when the armature (10) is closed to the electromagnet. The armature is preloaded by two springs (13,14) for moving amature between the electromagnets and keeping it at one electromagnet during preset time interval for energizing electromagnet. An Independent claim is also included for the use of the electromagnetic actuator operation.
