The energy store has an evacuated storage vessel (1) provided with a highly-reflective mirrored internal surface, which is coupled via a gate (3) to an evacuated input vessel (2) provided with a one-way filter (4), with both the gate and the input vessel similarly provided with highly-reflective mirrored surfaces. A second mirrored gate (5) at the opposite side of the storage vessel is coupled to an output vessel (6), provided with solar cells over its internal surface, the solar cells connected together for output of an electrical voltage.
