The cabin installation has a number of adjacent cabins (2,2') for respective golf driving tees, each having a base plate (3) and a top cover (4) with 2 shorter sides (3a,3b; 4a,4b) and 2 longer sides (3c,3d; 4c,4d), with the longer sides of the adjacent cabins butted up against one another. The base plates and top covers of all cabins are assembled from similar pre-fabricated components which taper in the driving direction, allowing the cabins to be arranged in a ring or given radius enclosing the driving range.
