Liquid light conductor (A) comprises a plastic tube of a hydrogen-containing polymer (I), coated on its inner surface by an amorphous, perfluorinated polymer (II) and filled with light-conducting liquid (III). The tube is sealed tight at both ends by transparent, cylindrical (quartz) glass stoppers. The novelty being, that the polymer (I) is crosslinked by irradiation. An Independent claim is also included for a method of preparing the liquid light conductor (A).
