The mix in the mold (4) is subjected to nonharmonic vibrations but without impact using a steadily increasing and decreasing force obtained by harmonically varying mass forces at freqencies f1 of 10-200 Hz and f2 of 10 Hz maximum. Vibration is transmitted by a table (3) rigidly joined to the vibration source (1) with the mold (4) filled with mix fixed to the table. The source consists of several unco-ordinated gears used to generate the mass forces, preferably two gears for the respective frequencies f1 and f2. The force varying with less freqency should be an excentric crank.
