Polyurethane foams contains (i) ethyleneimine, polyvinyl amines or their copolymers or optionally carboxymethylated-, phosphonomethylated-, quaternized- and/or dithiocarbamatized-polyethyleneimine and/or (ii) alkali(ne earth) hydroxides. An Independent claim is also included for the preparation of the foam.
