The device has a polyhedron reference body with a standing surface and at least three other surfaces, each provided either with a pattern of photogrammetric target markers and a machine-legible identifier forming a reference field or two reference fields, of which one represents the scaled reduction of the other with a different identifier. An Independent claim is also included for a method of automatically recording multiple topometric traces.
