PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the reference point of target for photogrammetry. ;SOLUTION: First and second series of point on a same line having high brightness information in a pickup image are selected, respectively, at steps S1060, S1062. At step S1064, center of gravities of respective end point groups are checked for matching. At step S1066, coordinate of the center of gravity of a group of end points on the side opposite to those matching with the end points of the second series of points in a group constituting the first series of points is stored in a variable A1, coordinate of the center of gravity of a group of matching end points of the first and second series of points is stored in a variable A2, and coordinate of the center of gravity of a group of end points on the side opposite to those matching with the end points of the first series of points in a group constituting the second series of points is stored in a variable A3. At step S1070, counterclockwise angle of a vector from A2 to A3 with respect to a vector from A2 to A1 is checked and if it is within a specified range, the first and second series of points are determined as a reference point and an auxiliary point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
