The combustion zone (1), in the cylinder of an internal combustion motor, is divided into two zones (8,9) which are sharply separated from each other. Air is in the first zone (8) and a homogenous and stoichiometric fuel-air mixture is in the second zone (9). Initially the first zone is filled with air, and then fuel is injected into the second zone in a multi-local action at various points in the cylinder combustion zone, using micro-injectors with a narrow injection depth and a high sputtering.
