An emergency release device consists of an available component that is part of the power flux during normal functioning of an industrial truck like a stacker truck. This component can also be removed from the power flux. The component is a plug-in shaft (1) that is screwed down with a reversing gearbox by means of screws designed as forcing screws (4) with an inner oil seal (8) and an outer cover (9).
