The tool includes a die (1) made of ceramic material, the inside of which has a decreasing cross section with an extrusion shoulder. Axial pre-stressing is applied to the die. The die lies with one endface against a stop surface. An energy store element such as a dish spring (5) acts with a pre-stressing force (F) on the other endface (1.4) of the die.
