The body of the vehicle has a load carrying surface (14) bounded in the longitudinal direction by a front (16) and a rear (18) vertical wall. One of the two walls has a thrust wall (24) which is movable in the direction of the other wall and secures the load (30) in the longitudinal direction. The thrust wall is mounted on the fixed rear wall by several parallel articulated arms (26) and can pivot upwards and parallel from its securing position into a loading position.
