A method for the production of additive dispersions containing water, additive(s) (A) with a melting point (TA) below 95 deg C and additive(s) (B) with a m.pt. of 95 deg C or above involves: (1) mixing water, emulsifier and (A) at between TA and 95 deg C to form an emulsion; (2) cooling to TA or below to form a dispersion; and (3) mixing with solid, finely-divided (B). An Independent claim is also included for additive dispersions obtained by this method.
