Working up polyether-polyol from ring-opening polymerization of epoxide on hydroxy starter in presence of heterogeneous catalyst involves removing the catalyst by a membrane separation process

A method for working up polyether-polyols (I) obtained by ring-opening polymerization of epoxides with hydroxy-functional starters in presence of heterogeneous catalysts involves separating the catalyst from the product (I) by a membrane separation process. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of (I) by ring-opening polymerization of epoxides followed by a work-up process using a separation step as above.
