The nonwoven layers (1',1) are joined together along one or several lines or points (3) or by their surfaces in such a way that the absorbent material (2) is prevented from sliding in parallel to the nonwoven layers. The nonwoven can be a carded nonwoven, a spunbonded, a polycomponent nonwoven or a spun lace. The layers are joined through heat sealing and/or ultrasonics.
