The inductive component is assembled from 2 complementary shell cores (14) providing a winding chamber with a winding carrier and at least one winding. The complementary shell cores are obtained by lateral separation of a shell core formed in one piece, the complementary parts of the shell cores provided by a number of wire sections of a ferromagnetic material, spaced in a ring around the axis of the core cross-section.
