Preferred composition is given as percentages, as follows: C 3.07, carbon equivalent (CE) 4.3, Si 3.7, Ni 0.7, Mn 0.25% or less, Mg 0.45, Ce 0.001 and Sb 0.002. CE is given by CE = C + 1/3 Si. Small tolerance ranges including the foregoing values are also provided.
