An emulsion for care and/or drying and/or use prior to hot wax application when washing a vehicle in a (especially automatic) car-wash comprises (by wt): (A) a cationic surfactant (0.1-25%); (B) solvent (0.1-25%); (C) silicone wax (0.1-5%); (D) emulsifiers (0-5%); (E) oils (0-10%); and (F) water (30-99.7%).
