The join edge profiles have edge profile pieces (13,14) to take the sealing band (6) and at the same time to support the fingerplates (16,22) bridging the join (5). The fingerplate arrangement (9) consists of two plates running along the join and sawtoothed together by their fingers elements, plate (22) being releasably joined to the edge profile piece concerned, preferably screwing by threader bolt engaging holder (11).
