The four-link rear axle has three wishbones extending in the transverse direction and connecting the wheel carrier to the rear axle support (8). Two (5,6) of the wishbones are connected to the wheel carrier above its middle point (ML), and one wishbone (7) is connected below it. The lower wishbone is constructed to accommodate a support spring (10) which by its other end is supported on a support plate (8b) provided on the rear axle support. The two upper wishbones are connected to the support plate by rubber mounts (9).
