Heating circuit valve adjuster device (1) has an outer housing (2) that surrounds a thermo-mechanical operating element (4) and an adjuster element (10) in the outer housing that is driven by the operating element (10). A transparent window (14) is provided in the outer housing. The opaqueness of the outer housing is conferred either by the thickness of its wall or by roughening of its surface. In the window area the wall is thinner or there is less roughening.
