Ground cleaning for beaches involves ground surface contour sensing to feed control unit with comparator initiating pickup adjustment up or down or level on sensor and vehicle speed basis.
The ground surface is found and the pickup (7) accordingly raised, lowered or left on the same level in linear mode, adjusting the height of the pickup to the vehicle speed. Ground surface contour is found by sensor (21) and fed to a control unit (S) to govern adjuster (20) by first input (E1). Sensor (22) records pickup height adjustment and feeds back to control (S) with input (E2). The control uses its comparator to check the input (E1,E2) against a stored ideal input ratio (E1 to E2) and thence initiates pickup (7) adjustment as stipulated. Adjustment is time-dependent on the vehicle speed. A pickup pressure sensor feeds values to the control unit (S) for checking against a stored ideal. Unit (S) is linked to the vehicle drive so as to control this and keep the inputs (E1,E2) within the ideal range.
