The excavator shovel, particularly for a mini-excavator, is for lifting material from a cohesive ground surface and comprises a bent component (1) with a front cutting rail (2) or teeth at one end. A fixture device (6) is provided for a rapid exchange frame (7) for fixture to an excavator arm at the other end. A bending reinforcement (4,5) is provided on the rear side of the shovel. The bending reinforcement comprises at least one rib extending vertically from the rear side of the shovel and narrowing to the cutting rail or the cutting teeth. The rib is formed as a hollow casing extending from the rear side of the shovel and a cover plate welded to the shovel.
