Distance measurement system for determining position of object measures actual mixed, transmission signal amplitudes, phases by combining desired profiles with input impedance low pass coefficients
The method involves a transmitter emitting an oscillating signal reflected by an object in the measurement region and received by a receiver near the transmitter. The received signal is mixed with a signal oscillating at a different frequency. Amplitudes and phases of actual mixed and transmission signals are determined by combining desired characteristics with input impedance low pass coefficients. The method involves a transmitter emitting an oscillating signal reflected by an object in the measurement region and received by a receiver near the transmitter, whereby the received signal is mixed with a signal oscillating at a different frequency. The actual mixed and transmission signals are formed by superimposing a fundamental wave with one of the frequencies with up to four harmonics with amplitudes and phases selected for a close approximation to theoretical signals. Suitable input impedances are selected directly or indirectly. Amplitudes and phases of actual mixed and transmission signals are determined by combining desired characteristics with input impedance low pass coefficients.
