The vehicle seat has a support structure (1), padding and seat cover (3) with fixing strips (3a) along its edges with apertures for fitting onto fixed tabs set on the underneath of the support structure and formed by downward facing seat feet (1a). The seat feet can be formed by sheet metal tabs welded on the support structure.
