The pump has a stator in which there is an eccentric screw conveyor rotated by a drive via a drive shaft device, so that the stator in combination with the eccentric screw conveyor pumps a flow of material. The shaft body and screw conveyor are made first, then laid in a different halves of a mold, which is closed. The shaft body is coated and bonded to the screw conveyor.
