The device has a bearer unit (10) with a stiff floor pan (16) on which a vehicle (20) or model can be placed, at least one projector (26) and projection surface (A) and at least three motion modules (30), each on a wheel rolling on a floor surface, steerable relative to the vertical axis and driven relative to a horizontal axis. Each wheel of a motion module is a dual wheel. A drive device can drive both dual wheels differently.
