A slide cable-guiding roller (SCGR) (6-8) with a defined radius and a level axis of rotation runs on bearings on an on-load slide. Starting from a fixed retaining device (9) as added support, cabling on test (2) can be guided from a level above and at the side of a position for the SCGR in a slide-up position onto a level above and at a side opposite a position for the SCGR in the slide-up position. Applying a radii-load moves an area of cable along the SCGR.
