The gearing for angular adjustment of a rotatable seat back in a motor vehicle has a fastening section (10) with concentrically located elongated holes and the base component (12) of the seat section has a circular internal toothing with pointed teeth. A rotatable cam disc (18) is co-axial with the elongated holes and internal toothing and has a curved outer contour deviating from the circular shape. The cam disc is encircled by transmission rollers (20) of which one is supported with radial movement in an elongated hole, with the number of rollers being equal to the number of elongated holes in the fastening section.
