Vibration dampening engine mounting has main chamber and lower chamber separated by compensating chamber with membrane wall which can be pressurised or evacuated via connector with control unit
The vibration dampening engine mounting has a first connector (9), to which the engine is fixed, and a second connector (99) attached to the chassis. A damper (7) is mounted between these which absorbs vibrations produced by the engine and whose lower wall encloses a main chamber (12) filled with fluid. A lower chamber (16) enclosed by a membrane (17) is connected with the main chamber by a fluid channel (15). A compensating chamber (13) is separated from the main chamber by a second membrane (11) and can be pressurised or evacuated via a connector (3) with control unit (5).
