A method for driving an engine by a combination of an explosion engine and a turbine is described. The combustion reaction consists of the reaction of a variable mixture of silicon hydride, silicon powder in water solution and air, with water and silicon nitride being produced as exhaust gases. The inner wall of the engine is said to be coated with silicon nitride, which is simultaneously formed during the combustion process. As a result, there is always a sufficient lubricating film made of silicon nitride in the border area between the engine wall and the combustion chamber, so that there is no abrasion. After ejection from the explosion engine, the excess heat of the combustion gases is mixed with cold, compressed air and used to operate a turbine. Its shaft is coupled to the shaft of the explosion motor so that it runs more evenly. By mixing the exhaust gases with cooling air, the combustion gases cool down, so that the silicon nitride can ultimately be filtered as solid dust and then processed further industrially.
