A blood dialysis process uses a chromatograph molecular sieve incorporating supplementary water of hydration but remaining partly dehydrated with respect to the fundamental mol value. The molecular sieve is also charged with a chromatographic solution (Y) and an active anti-coagulant ingredient. A material detoxifies non-body substances (X) found in the blood (4). The material is a blood-compatible sieve membrane (1) matrix (2). The sieve has a pH of 7.5 with a cation chromatograph solution (Y). Blood detoxification is effected by the chromatograph-treated molecular sieve. The molecular sieve (3) has water of hydration but remains partially dehydrated in relation to the fundamental mol quantity (m) and is charged with the chromatographic solution (Y). The molecular sieve is a metal-aluminum-silicate with the formula Men((AlO2)y ( (SiO2)y) .(m(m')H2O. An Independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing the molecular sieve in which the material is heated for several hours at a temperature of preferably 450 deg C for 1-7 hours and simultaneously partially dehydrated. The sieve is then charged with the required quantity of water of hydration, chromatograph solution (Y) and active ingredient (Z). The sieve (3) is then worked into the matrix.
