The engine has an additional opening(19) for the removal from the suction chamber(13) of deposits separated by the air filter(16). For noise damping the opening is closed off by a hinged flap(20) through underpressure in the suction chamber when the engine is running under load. The flap is preloaded in the open position and constructed from elastic material.
