Polypropylene (PP) foam container for microwave heating comprises a layer of PP foam with an unfoamed layer on at least one side which contains 100 parts by weight (pts. wt.) PP resin and 40-100 pts. wt. talc. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of such containers by laminating at least one side of a layer of PP foam with an unfoamed layer as above and then heating and forming the laminated sheet.
