Production of a connection between a basic body (GK) having a spherically curved outer contour and a tubular hollow body (HK) comprises pressing the hollow body on the outer contour of the basic body by directly or indirectly applying a fluid or gaseous pressure medium on the outer surface of the tubular body. Preferred Features: One or more basic bodies are inserted in the tubular hollow body. The outer surface of the hollow body is directly impinged upon by a pressure medium so that it lies with its inner contour on the outer contour of the basic body. The hollow body is separated to form a number of connections corresponding to the number of basic bodies in the hollow body. The resulting hollow body sections form an outer ring of each connection.
