The powered hand saw has a drive motor, with saw blades and a holder to cut tree branches. A bending drive train is on the carrier (1), which is firmly bonded to the hand guide unit, at the front side of the carrier and across it. Swing arms (6) with the drive transmission are at both sides, with circular sawblades (9) mounted at their ends. The arms swing against each other through a spring force. The drive train has a counter gear shaft, with universal joints at both sides, with the centers of the joints coaxial to the swing arm couplings.
