Natural horse radish is used in animal husbandry to stimulate appetite, growth, fattening and meat yield. An independent claim is included for a ready-for-consumption fodder comprising fermented plant matter and/or protein, e.g. soya with fiber and bio-organic additives forming acids, e.g. amino-, lactic- and/or citric acids. Horseradish is added in solid- paste- or powder form, in specified proportions.
