A vibratory pneumatic tire roller comprises a frame (11,111), tire attaching means (2) supported on each side by said frame (11,111) with vibration proof members (12A, 12B) and bearings (16,6i,6j), a tire (1) attached to said tire attaching means (2), and a vibration generating device (5) having a vibration generating shaft (4) provided within the outer diameter of said tire (1) between said bearings (16,6i,6j) placed at the ends of said tire attaching means (2), said vibration generating device (5) transmitting vibration to said tire (1) by rotating said vibration generating shaft (4) with a drive source (8) for generating vibration. Accordingly, the vibration generated by the vibration generating device (5) is transmitted to the tire (1) efficiently. The present invention achieves a self-propelled ride-on type vibratory pneumatic tire roller which is suitable for road compaction. IMAGE
