The sun blind comprises a canvas (2) which is wound around a storage cylinder (5). It has at one free end a draw bar (3) connected to a support (4) by a mechanism (6) comprising connecting rods (7,8). The rods are pivoted between the support and the draw bar for the unfurling of the canvas. The draw bar is held parallel to the canvas. Each mechanism comprises a rod (7) pivoted on the support by a pivot (11) which carries the rod pivoting spindle (9). This spindle rotates around a spindle (12) orthogonal to the rod pivoting spindle. The support has a fixed stop (13) on which the rod is supported in order to rotate the pivot around its axis during the final phase of unfurling of the blind. The stop also modifies the orientation of the rod relative to the unfurled blind plane.
